Sorry, that the adults in the room said that's not realistic and divisive. Harrasing homeless people and drug users is tried and tested and makes people feel safe. Just don't start asking why there's so many of these types of people around.

The problem with Portland is that downtown has always sucked, people were just forced to go there because of their jobs so baby brains thought it was "vibrant". The east side has all the cool stuff anyway.

Seriously, I was walking around downtown Portland during the pandemic and it was just as completely devoid of life as they could make it
