I am able to browse lemmy using Eternity. My instance just upgraded to the new version. Initially it wasn't working properly so I logged out then logged in. After that it seemed to work fine. However, the new sort options are not available. I am able to use those sort options on Voyager app. I think I am really liking the scaled sort option.
Scaled should be the new default, in my opinion. I like the visibility it gives smaller communities.
Can you switch to scaled at all? I've been looking for that since my instance was updated.
On Eternity, not yet. Hopefully an update for that comes soon. But there are other clients that have scaled sort implemented.
Exactly. It made my home feed browsing so much more interesting. It's great how posts from smaller communities get boosted. I really hope Eternity gets this sorting option soon!
This, OP, I also had to log out and back in again. Then everything worked fine.
I'm on the same instance. Had to log out and log back in. After that everything worked fine with Eternity 0.1.2 (Play Store Version)
Yes, just log back in again
Really strange. I logged out but can not log back in. "Cannot fetch user info" is all I am getting.
I got that when trying to log in via email. It worked fine logging in via username instead.
Oh my god! Thank you so much! That was the issue I was experiencing! My password manager filled in the fields which is why I didn't see the field stating Username.
I will have to change the password manager behaviour for Eternity. Thanks a lot!
I have eternity 1.2 from fdroid and it works for me on lemmy.zip which is v0.19.9
It worked for me when I logged out and back in again
Since I upgraded my instance, I've been using Photon UI as a PWA and also testing Raccoon for Lemmy. I like Raccoon a lot, but it's still new and a bit rough around the edges.
