I just started using it, after dumping my paid Textra app after I learned it had 9 trackers.

I haven't had a lot of usage with it yet, as I'm not a big texting person. It looks good so far. I wish it had a feature to text myself to provide myself with quick notes. Other apps have it and the text doesn't actually go out to SMS and back which is nice.

Also wish it had the ability to copy specific text in a message. Currently it only lets me choose an entire message to copy.

I also don't see a way to send an audio clip.

Does it provide quick reply suggestions? If not, that would be nice to have.

It's decent. Gets the job done with minimal fuss, decent customization, and it's open source.

I can't say there's really much difference between the biggest sms apps currently other than looks, so qksms being open source is pretty major

I used QKSMS a loooong time ago. It was my default sms app. I really liked the minimal design.
