At this point, the whole secondary education system in the US is a giant scam to create debtors for the next 20-30 years.

Yuuuuup, degrees aren't worth what they used to be worth, every basic job requires a degree now.

All the government has done by pushing college onto every kid, telling the kids to get enslaved by debt at age 18 to go to an overpriced college ran by politicians buddies is create an oppressed working class. Seems like it was by design

Don't forget the government ensuring that student loans are not able to be erased, even by bankruptcy.

This creates a guaranteed income stream for the banks, while also allowing the universities to crank up tuition costs, knowing that the bank will approve any student loan amount - knowing there will never be a default on that loan.

The government caused the insane bloating of college institutions by offering limitless funds and pushing every kid to go school, now they're trying to use our tax dollars to put a band aid on their mistakes? Hell no.
