Sounds like great news for Mexico, good for them. Especially having the big EV makers located locally, will be a huge asset. Shouldn't the capitalists in the states be excited for all the competition?
After a couple test-drives I did recently I actually am getting a BYD as my next car in the near future anyway. (and I live in Japan, we normally are pretty heavy on domestic cars). Really nice cars and quite reasonably priced.
