My first ever bulid and I'm so excited! It's not trivial to build a perfect keyboard just from parts you can order in Europe. This is one doesn't look exactly how I imagined it but I love it anyway. If anyone is interested - it's a Sofle Choc V3 kit from 42. Keebs.

The first few days were a bit hard but after just a week of using it I was able to beat my monkeytype high score. I'm still not really fluid in using it for programming and vim in general though.

It's nice to see these builds with key caps that include letters!

Great build! Is it for travel, or a stationary setup?

Thanks!

To be honest I really like the aesthetics of keycaps without labels and I will probably change to those eventually. However, I wanted to play it safe for now considering the fact that it's my first time with a keyboard like this.

It will definitely be 99% stationary but I think I will need to figure out a way to safely travel with it a few times a year since typing on a laptop keyboard feels like a torture now...
