Well, golly, another big company not giving a shit about climate change.

Don't worry, you stupid bitches. I'll drive my Civic & recycle. I'm sure that'll help.

Thanks for saving this planet. I gotta go, my new SUV is ready for pickup.

Probably a Lambo! It's insane that car culture felt the need for a friggin' Lamborghini SUV. WTF!

It’s all fault of feminization of males. Im telling you, first you eat microplastics and years later the man in you wants a lambo but a woman wants a SUV.

I’m kidding of course. But SUVs should be fucking illegal.

I've been telling people for years that I love my micro/nano plastic diet. Gives me a very efficient layer of insulation. I can even shovel snow while wearing shorts.

Though know what’s crazy, since the democratization of electric cars I find fancy loud cars more and more annoying than beautiful. I used to gawk at Lamborghini and others now I’m just, eh, another fossil fuel engine.

Well I hope the fine is big enough to prevent them from trying again.

Still, even a green car, is a dirty car. I say that as a sports car lover who knows his love is armful for the environment.

Thank God it's not legful instead.

$2B and potentially more, sure hope that's enough

A 3.2s 0-60mph and 40mpg cruise efficiency in a 20 year old frame for $3k got me to go all-in on motorcycles. Even my 60mpg 300cc city bike does 60 in the 8s. From the 300, efficiency can double on a 125 or 0-60 can halve while maintaining 50+mpg cruise (but takes a hit on city) with a 500 or 650. Yes, bikes are fair-weathered vehicles but they overwrote my vehicle thrill pattern. The acceleration takes 10x as much money for a car to match but even ignoring that, there's something enjoyable about clean maneuvers. Yeah it's fun to apex a turn in a car or get a nice slide, but it's different when it's a whole-body maneuver. It's like dancing. It's like DDR on a controller vs dance pad.

But it's not for everyone, I know.
