Is there a way set a filter to block posts with that keyword in the title or description ??

I had enough of posts about a certain personality living rent free in the minds of many, I am just fed up with that. if it isn't possible, I hope developers will work on this feature soon !

Certain apps like Voyager support, but not natively supported in Lemmy yet.

Boost for Reddit has a word filter

Boost has it. I also have Elmo and Twitter added, it's been much calmer since. Haven't added X yet because I don't know if it would block every word with an x in it though.

We would all be better off mentally if we filtered out those guys.

The US election season is way too fucking long. I love hearing about the losses he's taking but the bullshit he spews still gets out there. No need for that. I miss the time shortly after Biden got in where I didn't hear about Trump every day. Didn't even hear about what Biden was doing! It was a mental health treat!

And Musk... just seems like I don't really need to know what that guy is up to every day.

blocking news, technology, and politics communities did it for me
