I wonder to what extent the unnecessary pressure from the entrance exam system has contributed to the growing attractiveness of overseas universities

The first thing that comes to my mind is that while in demographic decline like most parts of the developed world, they chose not to use immigration, but automation as a production base instead, which saves them a lot of trouble in social integration, but it turns out, robots don't have kids or go to University.
