Please do!
Everyone notices your feet tapping when you're anxious minutes before you do.
The arm scratch you do when you're thinking. We noticed.
You make a weird face when you're formulated your words to speak.
You smell bad but not quite enough to be worth mentioning
For everyone out there who's now afraid to leave the house: noticing tics does not mean caring or even paying attention to them. Yeah, that guy's foot is tapping, he's probably nervous, glad it's not me, what's for lunch? Even you see other people's tics and dismiss them because they're part of being human. Meanwhile you beat yourself up for your own.
Remember the Reverse Golden Rule: Be as kind and forgiving to yourself as you would to a friend, or at least as kind as you would be to a total stranger.
Yeah, nobody says anything because they don't care
My ex once told me I walk weird. Like a week before we broke up.
That shits stayed with me for like a decade.
I don't think I walk weird, but I have been self conscious of it ever since.
send me a video and I'll let u know for sure
Ffffuck no, I don't need that fear made worse, I'm pushing it back down deep inside.
Until I see someone with a weird walk, and think:
"hey that guy walks weird...oh no... "
All my gitlfriends told me I walk weird and maybe I do. But now when someone mentions it, it makes me angry and I always reply that I walk faster than most people, fall very rarely and always get to where I wanted to go. Shit works, Im not gonna fix it because you think it looks weird.
Can't grow if you don't learn
Scary shit!
