As promised

Seems to be a hit piece of Kochie. I wonder who’s behind this campaign.

https://darketeen.com (code blocked to avoid it being clickable)

That URL goes to some Russian transport mob. Just some dodgy advert I think.

Oh? I got a fake Daily Mail article when I went.

Not everywhere everywhere but I see it or variations without kochie a few times a week.

I’ll copy the link url if I see it again and let you know.

Oh my god it’s behind me right now isn’t it?

Koshie's face looks too sharp, it looks like some dodgy AI or photoshop right there.

[-] Marsupial@quokk.au 3 points 9 months ago

I’ve seen it without him as well. I think the original is an AI image look at the guys face in the bg and the “polie” instead of police badge.

Kochies been photoshopped on top of it.

Someone is out there paying good money to get this spammed across the Internet targeting Australian users with fake images.

[-] Marsupial@quokk.au 2 points 10 months ago

Anyone else seeing this? I can’t help but laugh every time I do.

[-] Nath@aussie.zone 2 points 10 months ago

No, I am not seeing an ad for the "Polie" taking some guy into custody. And what on earth is going on over his shoulder?

[-] tombruzzo@aussie.zone 1 points 9 months ago

The gist is meant to be he spoke about an investment strategy only rich people are meant to know about live on air.

It would be nice to see something done about the platforms that display these ads. This isn't just spam, they're accepting money to put these in front of people.
