Why go to the US where people will hate you when you can go to other countries that are going the extra distance to make you feel welcomed and at home?

I missed the boat on learning Chinese but in a generation or two I'm sure many here will speak Chinese decently and will make Chinese tourists know they are welcomed. We still have work to do as a country and a people, but I hope every experience is positive, and if it isn't we apologize.

Yeah, within the next decade we'll probably see a lot of people around the world when choosing to learn another language, picking Chinese over English. English will be the lingua franca for at least another 50 years I think, but as US hegemony declines, there'll be less and less reason to learn the language.
