Why does a game like FF6 need a remake? It's a classic as it is, and the 8-bit aesthetic is a part of that.

SNES era games for the most part gain nothing from being remade.

The only reason we aren't rebooting Pong is because it was always supposed to be Tennis.

The original Donkey Kong is getting a reboot of its reboot. Pacman Championship Edition was popular recently.
