nichijou. it looks fun :)
Pokemon probably
This is always my go to answer where your biggest worry is how you can afford to feed a big ass monster.
If I actually had powers and strength comparable to a protagonist, then I'd get a little more adventurous with it and go One Piece for the endless adventure.
pokemon world seems like farther ahead in socialism where it seems like feeding and maintaining a pokemon seems like it can be handled.
i'd probably go for like. some kind of sports anime? i don't play sports, but you know that every single volleyball game you see in the world of haikyuu is going to go hard, so it's our world but at least one sport is just always going to have a three act structure if you show up to a local community game. if that's what high school basketball is like in kuroko imagine what the pros are up to!
i would love to say gundam build fighters but i haven't seen that so it could easily suck to live in for some reason
if we expand the parameters a little to things that are basically doing anime* i'd go with living in the union in unjust depths. i think it would be nice to live in a communist state where homelessness is such a foreign concept that when people visit capitalist states they have massive freak outside about how inhumane everything is
Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend
Digimon for sure. Adventure 1 and 2 specifically. Tamers is a nightmare and i dunno about anything else.

Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.
