I've had a great time with BG3 and my wife is completely entranced by Zelda: TotK.

I can't do it, I just can't enjoy video games anymore. Some woman from 10 years ago made a few videos explaining negative portrayals of women in video games! It's not possible to play minecraft and enjoy myself anymore!

Anita Sarkeesian made a bunch of straightforward, accessible videos analyzing the portrayal of women and patriarcy in video games almost ten years ago. A certain segment of gamers lost their entire shit and never found it again. I think her project was called "Feminist Frequency".

Also no idea what they're even talking about. Since she made these videos, steam has openly started allowing full on porn games and multiple big AAA games have video gaem titties in glorious high def 1080p. They've been mad so long they don't even know what they're about anymore.
