My wife and I started talking about this after she had to help an old lady at the DMV figure out how to use her iPhone to scan a QR code. We're in our early 40s.

Yes. Absolutely 100% yes. I meet people my age who have comparable tech skills to my grandpa. This is not related to age, its related to how much work you put into your devices.
