I beat bg3 tonight. A zombie I didn't know throws a party for me and the two other people in my party... Like 30 empty chairs. I think I missed a lot of the game.

I bet that zombie spent hours getting all that food, furniture, and a musician I didn't know together.

You never met Withers? I didn't know it was possible to avoid meeting him, he's supposed to just show up to your camp at some point lol

Also, that musician is unique to the epilogue. There's a dialogue option where you can go ask him who he is and why he's there.

Alfira died in my campaign so I was wondering if he was a placeholder for her

Blood circle on the ground? What do you mean? That was always there!

Pfft. Real Durges go to bed covered in her gore. Just saying.

No, he shows up either way. He's actually a pretty cool character, but it's super easy to miss because you have to go climb up on that pillar and basically demand to know who he is haha

[-] teft@lemmy.world 0 points 8 months ago

I dont understand this sentence. What pillar are you climbing on?

The bard at the end of game party is up on a raised platform

Don't think I met that character either 😐

[-] Zugyuk@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

Oh wait, googled, yeah, she died at the end of act 1 for me. Didn't even last a night

He showed up in the camp, but I thought he was just passing through the camp and ignored him. 🤣I don't want to associate with that type of entity. No clue who let him into my room at the inn, but I certainly didn't authorize it

Well if you talked to him, you could tell him to leave. He won't, but you can feel better knowing you tried

Also, didn't want to associate with that kind of entity? So a vampire was cool, but a bone man is too far? It's good to know where your boundaries are, I suppose

I felt like I could fix astarion? He was more playful than gross

[-] Zugyuk@lemmy.world 7 points 8 months ago

Final characters were astarion, shadowheart, and my half orc warlock

I stopped in act one, savoring it. I'm finished, but need to go to act 2 and there are two different ways and I haven't decided

[-] teft@lemmy.world 9 points 8 months ago

Go to the underdark first. Complete everything down there up to the elevator (you’ll know the one since it gives you a warning). After that go back to the mountain pass and finish it then head to act 2. This will net you the most story and loot.

[-] twistypencil@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago

Thanks, I did finish the underdark, because I went there early I had not finished the upper area.

[-] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 1 points 8 months ago

One of those ways is much, much easier than the other. Hint: Take the underdark path.

Well, time for round 2!

How long did it take? It was probably hard for the first time with only a party of three people. The maximum is four.

[-] Zugyuk@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

My tracked hours on steam is at 120 hours, but probably 40 of those are afk when life needed me. Picked up the title during stream winter sale. Yeah, I found the gith gal in a cage during act 1 but didn't free her because she was quite mean on the ship in the beginning. Thought the bard lady would be my 4th at the end of act 1, but then never found another person to join.
