She could save us all a lot of time if she just told us what cheating exactly would be prosecuted. That way we'll know what to indict her and Trump for.

[-] 800XL@lemmy.world 30 points 8 months ago

I mean it's all projection anyway.

But 'true conservative patriots' are automatically exempt from such charges, right Lara?

[-] mPony@lemmy.world 12 points 8 months ago

let's just call fascists Fascists and be done with it.

(R) have always been the party of "if we break laws we demand either inaction or forgiveness". They have always believed that Laws Should Not Apply To Party Members. They have been like this FOR DECADES. The fact that some people cannot fucking see this is infuriating.

"That is why the Justice Department is fighting back," Garland said. "That is why one of the first things I did when I came into office was to double the size of the voting section of the civil rights division. That is why we are challenging efforts by states and jurisdictions to implement discriminatory, burdensome, and unnecessary restrictions on access to the ballot, including those related to mail-in voting, the use of drop boxes, and voter ID requirements."

GOP: But we don't want a free and fair election! We cannot afford a free and fair election!

[-] GladiusB@lemmy.world 17 points 8 months ago

Didn't she have to think about it to talk about it?

[-] d00ery@lemmy.world 16 points 8 months ago

I thought the right was worried about conspiracies and wonky countries that give power to friends and family instead of being a meritocracy where anyone, with graft and ability, can succeed.

It's my clumsily worded statement, but having one's daughter-in-law as co-chair of the political party you want to lead seems like nepotism to me!

Sort of thing that happens in a dictatorship.

Next he'll be promoting his friends to the independent judiciary ...

[-] SayJess@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 8 months ago

I thought it was intentional, because it was so well done 🙂

I don’t like commenting on people’s appearance, but She’s fucking deformed.

[-] FenrirIII@lemmy.world 16 points 8 months ago

Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone.

[-] uiiiq@lemm.ee 12 points 8 months ago

[-] ElderWendigo@sh.itjust.works 0 points 8 months ago

[-] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago

Way too much work done.

[-] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

Who cares. She's head of the RNC, not the DoJ.
