Thank you for putting your time and effort into this. It's people like you that make Lemmy such a wonderful experience!
Making this app made me happy from the start to end, Lemmy has such a wonderful community that supported every step
Can the account data also be saved offline for backups, or only synced to another instance?
Please consider this as a feature if not. Also the ability to backup posts and comments would be very welcome.
The data is saved locally, I think it's relatively easy to export the DB and also import it later. I'll add to the issue list
Out of three instances, I've only been able to get this to log in to one of them. I'll try again later, maybe it's a network thing. Lemm.ee and lemmy.world are not logging in on this app, lemmy.ml is so far the only one that works.
Lemmy.world was unstable a few minutes ago, but let me know if you could login after
I just tried again, got all three of my instances logged in and synced up. Nice work, and thank you!
My .world account worked fine.
I retried and got all three instances logged in an synced. It's a slick little tool.
so awesome. Thanks so much, this makes the possibility of having to change instance much less of a burden. 5*
Any reason it would unsubscribe me from any communities? It looks like I was unsubbed from about five or six. Not sure which ones because the log scrolled by too quickly.
It syncs the accounts so if you unsubscribed from them in one account, it will unsub from the others
Maybe it might make sense to define one account as main account. Then everything else gets synced with just that account. Maybe should be optional.
Synced my subs just fine, but not saved posts or blocked communities. Are those not working yet?
Not yet, I'll implement it soon, probably next week it will be available
Cool. Otherwise it works as advertised so far. Thanks for making this!
Seems to be working, i'll check on my sh.itjust.works account.
It works fine and it's surprisingly fast!
Hell yeah! Thanks for the screenshots and feedback
Wow that's really neat. I'll check it out then. Cheers
This is amazing.
👏♥️
The icon looks like it represents Eccentrica Gallumbits is the far-famed triple-breasted whore of Eroticon Six
What? Lol
https://hitchhikers.fandom.com/wiki/Eccentrica_Gallumbits
apparently is a "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" reference
Come on people. Hitchhiker's Guide? The icon looks like 3 boobs? Ok ok
You make me wish I had three hands!
This is great, thank you! Got it installed and working in less than 2 minutes on Android.
Good to know, if you have any issues let me know
When do you expect it to be available on FDroid/IzzyOnDroid?
To be honest I have no idea how to deploy it there, but I have a list of issues to fix after a few people tested the app and I want to fix them before the next step
I hope this feature gets built into lemmy apps
i do have a Rocky linux vm so id do minimal testing on rocky linux
Is it possible to prevent the app from unsubscribing you from communities?
The current branch has a setting feature but I didn't released it yet due to tests I'm doing
