why is civil forfeiture not on the chart?
Civil forfeiture has very shitty documentation requirements, if there are any at all. There's a reason the cops in poor areas seize cash most often.
Because it’s legal, and theft isn’t?
It is unfortunately legal for the police to steal from and murder people.
I’ve literally had the police steal (not civil forfeiture) from me, you’re not telling me anything I don’t know. But the answer to “why isn’t this legal thing on this chart of illegal things?” is that it’s legal.
and that's just the wage theft that's explicitly illegal!
Murderous thugs in blue steal the most. More than any active crime or wage thefts. ACAB
A lot of these problems are copied and pasted, whole economies, war crimes, so it gets a little confusing.
