$34 to $65 somehow at the moment
As always, the secret ingredient is crime.
I bet it will be in the $10 range in a year.
Reddits current business model makes no sense; a for-profit company can not rely almost wholly on volunteers. Reddit knows this, and so does the market.
So Reddit, a company that never turns a profit, is supposed to hire thousands of moderators, cutting deeper into costs. Dont think so. So there is only one option; AI moderation, no other way. This will be the goal and the final nail in the coffin for Reddit I believe.
I feel like this is all a game to cash in on LLM training and then the c suite is gonna abandon ship. Reddit has never been profitable and there doesn't appear to be a path to make it so while keeping its users.
The data must be with a heck of a lot.
