Plot explanation
Offensive and defensive ratings are the estimated number of points teams score and allow per 100 possessions. Horizontal and vertical lines are league averages. Diagonal bands reflect net ratings, which are offensive ratings minus defensive ratings. The green dot-dash line is a net rating of +10, green dotted +5, red dotted -5, and red dot-dash -10).
Really impressive run Raptors are making. They have succeeded in leading the race to the bottom.
They received the relay baton from the Pistons when the Pistons broke their ~25-game losing streak over the Raptors' heads in December. Raps have 13 consecutive losses now, 9 games left I think, and two potentially winnable games in the Wizards and Nets. Will they reach 20 losses? The roster turnover and injuries has been pretty nuts though. Last game, yesterday, the broadcast said this was Toronto's 25th different starting lineup this year !!
What an impressive season it's been for the Celtics! The Rockets are blasting off!
