So, I bought several bags of frozen jackfruit thinking I would use the slow cooker to make some BBQ. Then I realized that it's ripe jackfruit, not young jackfruit. What can I do with it that's not a smoothie?
I recently started getting coconut sugar for when I need real sugar, or I use monk fruit when I just need sweetener. I didn't realize that white sugar is often made with bone char, and brown sugar is just white sugar with the molasses put back in.
We take for granted that if you engage in this community, you understand that veganism is about the animals. You either are vegan for the animals, or you are not (this is not to say that discussions about climate/environment/health are not allowed, of course)
No omni/carnist apologists. This is not a place where to ask to be hand-holded into veganims. Omnis coddling/backpatting is not tolerated, nor are /r/DebateAVegan-like threads
