Director Neill Blomkamp has put the 'District 9' sequel, 'District 10,' on indefinite hold, stating that he's unsure about making it now but believes it might be made in the future.

This has been talked about for over a decade. And didn't he get kicked off an upcoming Alien movie recently because of sexual misconduct allegations? Like abuse of a foster child or something like that?

When District 9 was released, we were so hyped for it that we rented a movie theatre screen to watch it in private.

I would love to see a sequel but I'm fairly certain it wouldn't live up to the original. Wikus needs to turn back!

Maybe he should make a single other film that isn't trash before he tries to make this sequel.
