Apparently "penne" is what we call "macarrones" in spain but there's another type of pasta called "macaroni" that I've seen but never heard being named anything else than just pasta?? I guess we just refused to say we were comiendo penes (btw apparently "penne" is the plural of feather??) so we used the name of the most similar other type and then forgot about it x3
And there's also macaron and macaroon, which r different from each other and aren't even pasta, yay language @~@
