The real misandry was inside the house - men using toxic masculinity to attack other men is misandrist. For this reason, feminism benefits men too.
What's typically called 'toxic masculinity' (that is to say the policing of "men" 's gender by other men) is actually just transmisogyny once you deconstruct it. men police other men for effeminating themselves, any step towards what might be considered "womanly" will be brutally punished.
