They won't do that because it all started with Brexit limiting access to chemicals used to treat water.
I think it sends the intended message: "The UK is open for business and we're cutting regulation 'cos we don't give a fuck!"
Diddums. Make BOE inflation the maximum that bills can rise. Renationalise any failing water companies that can't meet regulations.
They've sucked this country dry for 35 years. Failed to invest in reservoirs and sewage facilities as the population grew.
