Something you could easily do is bring a sentinel and put a weapon on it with decent status chance to proc Cold. Cryotra/Veriglass are both fairly good weapons for this (Cryotra is easier one to get to get out of the two). As for Sentinel, I'll usually use Dethcube with "Energy Generator" or Helios if I want scans.
For any high level disruption I take citrine bc 300% crit with her 4, while simultaneously stunning them is AWESOME. Plus 90% dr. Beyond that just take a weapon like strun or felarx that hits like a truck, and you should be all set
Gloomy Saryn. Great for clearing the trash, slowing disruptors to a crawl, and high survival.
I personally just mod some high damage weapons with cold+whatever they are weak to, the cold procs are normally enough to keep the demo from reaching the conduit. This has as additional bonus that I can take whatever frame I want, I am not bound to certain abilities for slowing or locking down.
My go-to lazy Disruption loadout is Revenant with Roar subsumed and Laetum. Rev makes dying a non issue regardless of what the game throws at you and you already build him for high power strength, so Roar just makes sense. And Laetum melts whatever Demolisher you point it at, just charge it up with headshots between waves.
Frost. Goodbye armour and 6-8 cold procs is basically a Gloom the Demos can't pulse off.
Octavia with Roar, Phenmor and Laetum.
Go invisible. Get the headshot meters filled. Pop a node, Roar and Incarnon mode. Bombers go brrrrrr.
A zaw with Exodia Epidemic or an frame with ensnare subsumed can freeze the disruptor practically in place. The more important issue with disruptors is to keep your distance so you don't get hit by the nullification wave and reapply the stun after every wave.
As for what to use, Nezha is great but you may want to use a full umbral build (in addition to adaptation) with him in an archon hunt and subsume roar over either his 1 or 4 (based on preference). Use an Exodia Epidemic zaw to stun the disruptor. Blazing Chakram multiplies damage dealt to enemies it hits, so apply blazing chakram after every nullification wave as well. Nezha is easily one of the tankiest and fastest ways to kill a disruptor, provided you don't get caught in the nullification wave.
You can use Magus Lockdown, but it's been repeatedly nerfed and isn't that great if your weapons aren't up to par. You can also use Rhino Stomp or a sleep effect like Ivara's sleep arrow or Baruuk's lull (excluding Equinox's Rest & Rage which doesn't work for some reason).
Mesa with ensnare/an Exodia Epidemic zaw is another option since her 4 does work on disruptors and quite well at that.
Again, the most important part is staying out of the nullificiation wave (i.e. keep a minimum distance away from the disruptor such that the red bubble that pops out doesn't hit you, and just wait for it to move to a better spot if it's in a tight area where that's not possible) and to reapply the stun immediately after every wave.
My general disruption frame/ ability is Sevagoth & gloom, able to slow down demolysts to nearly stationary.
Then the Epitaph for cold procs & more slow against demolysts. If using Sevagoth, than also increased headshot damage.
Felarx for primary & vastilok with Shattering Impact for armor strip.
I wonder if a Chroma with gloom subsumed on 4 would work. Gloom plus elemental ward cold slows things to a glacial pace.
What is archon disruption? Genuinely the 1st time I've heard of it
Part of the Archon hunt, something you get after completing the Veilbreaker Quest, which is after The New War.
So a disruption mission during an archon hunt? Those are special? I've done a few archon hunts and haven't really had issues with the missions before the final showdown...
Disruption is already a fairly hard mission type and as part of an archon hunt enemies are tougher and have a series of buffs on top. That's all
