I seem to be suffering from the above bug

https://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/issues/11139

but it only seems to pervade if I'm using Tailscale to VPN ~~home~~ to my exit node at a family members house?

Is Google / YT blocking the use of VPN's here / anyone else experiencing this?

Newpipe plus mullvad VPN, no issues

It's really strange, and testing via ProtonVPN some do and don't work.

But I think where I've found my main issue is the Exit Node I have at a family member's house that I use through Tailscale.

None of them work on that connection and, I don't know if it makes a difference but it is a CGNAT'ed connection whilst my exit node at home seemingly works fine and has an external IP.

Thanks for the confirmation!

Google could be rolling out a new pipe killer, and we're just seeing the a/b test effect now.

We'll have to wait and see. For now you can change the endpoint on your VPNs as you indicated

A nat or cgnat could be interesting, somebody might trigger the bot detector behind the nat, so we might be seeing a new bot detection algorithm rather than a new pipe killer.
