I believe a Viagra OD could kill you by crashing your blood pressure.

[-] jose1324@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago

Yep you would definitely crash

[-] ryannathans@aussie.zone 6 points 4 months ago

Pretty dark, is the cartoonist okay?

[-] DarkSirrush@lemmy.ca 50 points 5 months ago

Have you never looked at cyanide and happiness before?

This strip is one of the more tame ones.

[-] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 9 points 5 months ago

I have seen them cross by occasionally on here, but they never seemed this dark. That's been my experience anyway.

He doesn't know.

They literally have the name of a chemical famously used in suicide pills in their name

This comic strip even had special weeks over the years where they only published the most depressing "comics" for a week. But it's otherwise always been pretty dirty/edgy.

[-] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 3 points 5 months ago

Yeah, that was what I thought it was, more edgy and witty, less dark. I'm glad you're all making me aware though, I'll not be as surprised next time.

The title of the comic is literally "Cyanide and Happiness". Of course it's dark.

Dark? Funny

I see no darkness whatsoever.

[-] PunnyName@lemmy.world 10 points 5 months ago

Ok. So where are the sleeping pills?

[-] Wahots@pawb.social 11 points 4 months ago

Sex was a total snoozefest that night.

[-] Empricorn@feddit.nl 7 points 4 months ago

"Too Hard to Kill", title of your suicide tape.

Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!

About this community and how I post the comics… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net) and a an extra or two randoms.

Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Matt Melvin left C&H in 2014, and several other people have contributed to the comic and to the animated shorts… Read more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanide_%26_Happiness

Hope you enjoy and feel free to contribute to the community with art, media, cool stuff about the authors, tattoos, toys and anything else, as long it’s Cyanide and Happiness related!
