Low cost airlines don't. But I'm confused by this announcement because you already can bring anything to Malaysia Airlines/MH that isn't self-heating or pungent. Perhaps they're shifting the burden of meals to the passenger since the initial food situation is really bad from their headquarters. Totally BS because you're paying for meals in a full-service airline like MH.
