Unless there's been any major reports of Parkinson's in that area afterwards or prior, I think it was probably a coincidence
There is a conspiracy theory, that this case and my previous post, Robert Pickton is related:
- Both happened around Vancouver.
- Pickton was working on the pig farm from 1970. He could mix his victims' bodies with sold pork around 1977.
- There are some theories that prions can cause Parkinson's. You can get prions if you consume human brain.
The problems with this theory:
- Pickton's murders officially started later in the 80s.
- The connection between prions and Parkinson's is not fully understood if there is any
- Officially 4 people is not a Parkinson's cluster, so it can just happen accidentally without common source.

Probably just a coincidence, right?...
Coincidences are definitely an extremely common thing in the world. Always need to weed them out with care, to avoid jumping to conclusions.
