Maybe their target customers are grammar nazis who come into the store to correct them, then impulse buy a sofa.
Haha smart thinking
The Goodwyns thing is really annoying. Goodwyns' ffs
The "Goldwyns" was what really sealed the deal for me.
You folks have it wrong. It was actually a law firm, but partners Sofa, Chair, Recliner, & Bed all wanted to retain singular possession of the business.
No no no, the store belongs to the Bed, the Bed belongs to the Recliner, which in turn belongs to the Chair, which in turn belongs to the Sofa .
Wrong again. The store owner is called Sofalings Chairmongersons Reclinerolinghamfords-Bedsington. Y'know, of the Stourbridge Reclinerolinghamfords-Bedsingtons. But they had to abbreviate. The store sells windchimes.
I recently learned this is called the Grocer's Apostrophe.
Excuse me, I need to gouge out my eyes and jump from a high place. This might be the worst thing I see all day. I’ll chip in to buy them a new sign, just make it stop.
