Is there any way to migrate to wordpress from a blogger site whilst maintaining search engine performance?

I have a blogger site that attracts hundreds of visitors per week and would like to replace it with wordpress, but would not like to lose search engine rankings. How could this be done?

Also worth installing a decent SEO plugin, like seopress, rank math or AIOSEO. Not yoast. That way you can manually tweak a lot of seo related stuff to ensure metadata is preserved.

As far as I'm aware this won't be possible. You'd have to rebuild the site from scratch and manually copy images and text over.

As for SEO, I would expect a lot of the meta data to change since wordpress will be interpreting a lot of that.

As long as the domain stays the same, you could would probably get away with redirecting links, however I would expect your ranking to drop for a bit after the immidiate move regardless.
