It's feasible that the kid is still alive. Think for a moment what they would have lived through. A complete childhood without the state of Israel (Zionists were already moving in) , ww2, Israel being recognized as a state, the nakba, multiple wars trying to push israels influence away. Intifada, the second intifada, and then Israel slowly taking all Palestinian land. Followed by a genocide late in life..
