You almost made it a day without posting!

[-] TransplantedSconie@lemm.ee 7 points 2 months ago

Is this the GreenPartyNPC?

[-] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

It’s that person who’s been posting or commenting every 13 minutes on average for ten days then took a day off.

I guess it was their weekend?

[-] solidgrue@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

I see what I see.

[-] TransplantedSconie@lemm.ee 2 points 2 months ago

Lmao it is! Holy shit. He's about to go Libertarian with his last post.

How do they get to 270 tho otherwise they're just helping trump.

The correct time to challenge a party's platform is during primaries.

Doing it during the general is just playing spoiler and really helps no one.

Notice how Jill Stein and West and the like never come around to help until there's a presidential election then they're front and center.

Very telling.

Not completely true. If Democrats have been ignoring socialist issues, THIS is the time to let them know that if they want the socialist vote, they have a specific set of actions they need to take.

If it’s all about gathering support for the socialist candidate… then yeah. Do it at the primaries.

Yes, the convention where all the policies and speeches have been decided and approved weeks beforehand is the time!

[-] adespoton@lemmy.ca 0 points 2 months ago

Well, obviously not if you’re a staunch Democrat. But if you’re a staunch Socialist, where else are you going to get your voice heard?

Claudia De la Cruz

“We will be going beyond the lesser of two evil narrative and we will actually be discussing the most pressing issues of our communities and how we break away from the two-party system that is holding us hostage,” De la Cruz said in a social media video statement last week. “Only a true independent movement of working-class people and the creation of our own political instruments can actually guarantee our survival and the survival of the planet.”

Agreed!

Yeah, weird how suddenly all of these third party candidates nobody has ever heard of are suddenly popping up.

Almost like they're being propped up.

[-] LibertyLizard@slrpnk.net 3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

The PSL is an authoritarian, Leninist organization that supports government violence against dissidents and civilians, including in North Korea.

I normally am OK with these pro-third party posts, but this goes way beyond the spoiler effect. This is not much better than posts that promote fascism. These people want to murder us.

Edit: They’ve also been accused of cult-like techniques in recruiting and exploiting members. I haven’t investigated this fully so take it with a grain of salt but it would not surprise me if it’s true.

[-] Suavevillain@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

I like De La Cruz. That type of party and energy is needed.
