Lever guy should be smiling for being presented with the easiest decision of his life.

[-] Wogi@lemmy.world 22 points 3 months ago

Remove the biosphere from the equation and I'm still pulling that lever harder than I've ever pulled anything in my life.

[-] dharmacurious@slrpnk.net 18 points 3 months ago

Id pull that lever if the other track were empty. Hell, I'd pull the lever if the other track had literal cannibals or serial killers in it. They'll do less damage collectively than a single billionaire.

But think about all the economy that will trickle down

[-] CarbonIceDragon@pawb.social 13 points 3 months ago

Bold of one to assume we can run an economy capable of supporting billionaires without a habitable biosphere.

[-] henfredemars@infosec.pub 11 points 3 months ago

Billionaires are diseased. They are so consumed by greed they cannot see they are killing themselves.

[-] Shardikprime@lemmy.world 13 points 3 months ago

Gimme that lever right now.

Planetina and Poison Ivy giving you the thumbs up from the sidelines. Dew it!

Damn, I'd pull that thing so hard I might completely snap it off and derail the ~~train.~~ trolley (I can brain)

[-] pollodehule@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

Can the lever make the trolley go back and forth 2700 times? I want to run over each one individually.

billionaires are a cancer of society and need to be cut out. they think of nothing but their own growth and will damage all of the system because of it. we need to get rid of them before it's too late.

Edit: better yet, we need policies that disencourage their behavior.

And we'll never be allowed to rise up because even Lemmy and other social media will ban you the moment you have a discussion about anything beyond writing your congressman.

I wouldn't be so quick to write off Lemmy since it depends on what server you're on.

There are many servers, including the one this meme is on, that have plenty of progressive discussions without authoriative mods.
