What a well-timed and interesting video. I just saw my doctor earlier today and we discussed medications to address my anxiety which appears to be exacerbated or induced by ADHD. He told me about the difficulties getting stimulant drugs and ended up prescribing bupropion (Wellbutrin) instead partly due to this issue. He did not make any mention of the role that the DEA or the profiteering of drug companies has apparently played in this situation.

Wellbutrin definitely helped me much more than any other medication classified as an antidepressant. I think if I had known it was helping my undiagnosed adhd at the time I would have stayed on it, but it didn't do shit for my depression lol.

I have never had to wait for a dose of Adderall or Vyvanse since I got diagnosed 2 years ago, and i actually have an extra month of them at the moment. I'm not sure if this is location or pharmacy specific, all my meds come from the VA.

Thank you both for the encouragement. Just started wellbutrin for depression and amxiety. Big bonus if it treats what I suspect is undiagnosed ADHD, if not I'm starting therapy soon so we should be able to suss it out.

Reminds me of this "Life and times of Tim" episode where he just wants to buy some weed, and he knows a guy already, but it turns into this insane circus where he has to watch bad alternative theatre for hours, and one wrong comment about it cancels the whole deal: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3bop1d
