I got COVID so I have that going for me.

On the other hand, I'm speed rewatching a ton of shows. Almost done with Breaking Bad and Community. Next on my list is 30 Rock.

I got COVID

Ouch. I hope that you get better soon.

This time seems to be better than last time. Thanks though!

I've been feeling oddly drained, as if even the smallest activities took an unreasonable amount of effort. Work has been piling up as a result.

I'm also extremely annoyed with Brazilian bureaucracy. Without going too much into details: I need to update my personal documentation, that requires appointment in a government organ, but their site is always saying that currently there's no available time for my appointment. I've been trying it for days in a row, this is grating me to no end since I'm a bit anxious and I will need updated documentation to travel in the end of the year.

Update on the bureaucracy: finally, I got an appointment! It's such a small thing, but it was eating me from the inside. I'm also going to the doctor same day (routine check-up, nothing serious) since, meh, going down town might as well do both things. So it's two weights off my shoulders.

Now I just need to gather enough willpower to work. Plus to type out my recipes and poetry, I've been procrastinating this since forever.

Congrats! But any bureaucracy is terrible. Glad you got it all sorted though.

Hopefully your checkup is uneventful

Hating the first of two weeks in a row working in office. At home I’ve been prepping for our next game session and binging The Decameron when I have time. I’m really enjoying the series.

Not too bad. I’m up too late on a weeknight and might have some regrets tomorrow but oh well.

I am off all next week so I’m looking forward to that. Plus the hot weather has been calming down at least slightly

Been working longer days at work, school in the evening and at an impass on what I want to do with a prospective date. Really it's just the latter that is draining.

Otherwise been a pretty good week!

And like folks here say, "August is the month of the mad dog" - my computer's motherboard decided to go kaput. I shouldn't be surprised, as it was more than a decade old.

No, seriously, that mobo was ancient. I remember when I bought it, my nephew's curiosity over what I was doing, he was crawling around me. Nowadays we joke that he looks like Shaggy - including the stubby beard.

I also went along and bought a new processor. The old one was as old as the mobo. I wish that I could've bought a new GPU but... well, bitcoin craze than AI craze means prices are salty. (Doubly so in Latin America.)

Pretty good. Got paid on Monday, and that's always nice. After summer holiday, school and everything else is now back to normal, so it's pleasantly quiet at home during day time. I've made some headway when it comes to refurbishing one of the bedrooms in the house, so with a little bit of luck I'll be ready to finish one of the walls next week.

Taking today and tomorrow off work for a volunteer engagement. Completely forgot Monday is Labor Day. Surprise 5 day weekend!

Big medicine overhaul this week. New one is super hard to wake up from in the morning. I’m trying to shake it off now. So thankful for the long weekend coming up to help me adjust a little more. Covid in the house this week, both my niece and dad caught it. Not me…

Not great. My anger issues seem to be coming back big-time after being quiet for a couple years.

It's my second meltdown in two months. That's not good.

Not sure why it's happening. There's definitely a reason. But both me and my therapist are at a loss so far.
