Wow, RIP anandtech

With AnandTech gone and TomsHardware aside, what’s another great “deep cuts” tech news and reviews site?

They said they are bringing back their website but it's months out of date. They could just post the transcripts from YouTube with whatever slides they show on YouTube and it would be helpful.

But website ads don't get the ad money like YouTube.

Steve is the biggest legend

Used to watch Linus tech tips but after watching they're point to point wifi video that it felt like they were exaggerating a bit and after Steve pointed out the issues with it, I basically stopped watching

Also, they started too many channels and got too commercial

They're more an entertainment channel now, than a hardware and tech channel.

Yeah. the billet labs incident also showed that Linus maybe isn't as great in real life as he is on screen too, and a bit of a slave driver

Yeah I wish they'd just transcribe their youtube videos and make blog-style posts with some of the screenshots. I'm almost never going to watch a 20-minute video, it's not like they'd be losing a viewer.

Good suggestion! Though sometimes they're a little too technical for me.

27 years... They're older than I was when I started reading them.
