And that's why you always leave a note!
Escalator convincingly played by private detective Gene Parmesan.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH GENEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Came here to say this. Thank you fine friend.
I used to work facilities and maintenance for a department store when i was a kid, and escalators are nothing to fuck around with. Those motors are are capable of moving 8 tons up an entire story, and nothing will stop them from doing so. Anything that gets into the gear system will be crushed and destroyed, and your bones won't even phase the motor.
Yep 100%, it’s real shit, wouldn’t even joke about this happening tbh. I saw a horrible video a long time ago of.. ahem let’s just say a malfunctioning escalator in China. Horrifying.
The kid watching tho...
I remember that video too. The lady saving her kid was gut wrenching.
I can only hope to be this calm and articulate when I die.
That happened to me sort of. I walked home from the mall with only one shoe.
And then an escalator ambushed you?!
I feel like the untied shoe was asking for it. Freaked me out at the time.
It ate your shoe?
It did, sucked it right down and didn't come back out the other side.
Damn
The good news is my brother's only made fun of me for it for the next few years.
That kid is back on the escalator again!
It's the Sheriff from SquidBillies!!!
