You love to see it. Hopefully she likes her new ~~lifelong obsessive hobby~~ environment in the long term.
I don’t even know your sister…
Here's hoping they stick to it.
I imagine a lot of people switch, see how hard it is (due to it not being how they're used to things), and then go back.
Did you uninstall cups and avahi?
You mean because of the recent discovered flaw?
Yes, it would be unfortunate for a new user to experience all the horror our distinguished friend EvilSocket is telling everyone today..
Keep up the good work!
My distro had an update for cups, so I am guessing people are already on this. Pop Os is what I just loaded on this machine.
If you dont print, this is pretty good. CUPS can simply be disabled using systemd though.

Linux
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
