Nah. The USA has got troops in far friendlier and less problematic countries. The USA's protection of Israel has more to do with Israel investing in American politics than whatever Israel contributes to America.
We use Israel to cast our influence into the Middle East. Its definitely more than AIPAC contributions and political maneuvers.
They're casting an embarrassment. Nobody in the middle east is happy with the USA except Israel.

That is statistically unlikely. Millions of people live in that region. Surely a few are happy with the violence, for a variety of sick reasons.
I have a feeling that their problematic behavior is why we keep backing these savages.
As far as bases go we get much better effect from Kuwait and Qatar.
Well it would seem our officials think it's worth an entire people, regardless. Terrible time to be cognizant.
