Why does American media have such a hard time talking about Israel being an apartheid state, when it's an established fact?

Because thats our unsinkable aircraft carrier in the middle east. As reprehensible as that may seem, its probably most of the region. We need to protect the petro dollar to ensure our power.

Nah. The USA has got troops in far friendlier and less problematic countries. The USA's protection of Israel has more to do with Israel investing in American politics than whatever Israel contributes to America.

We use Israel to cast our influence into the Middle East. Its definitely more than AIPAC contributions and political maneuvers.

They're casting an embarrassment. Nobody in the middle east is happy with the USA except Israel.

Uh, the petrodollar is all that matters to the US my guy.

Yeah and there's something threatening it: a rabid client state

That is statistically unlikely. Millions of people live in that region. Surely a few are happy with the violence, for a variety of sick reasons.

I have a feeling that their problematic behavior is why we keep backing these savages.
