I don't know enough to judge if this is good or not. Lol

I have heard about him this morning and decided he is the best coach in existence, unless we don't get him, in which case he is a haired fraud.

Luckhurst just said he's agreed in principle.

It's in the athletic article that he is open to the move. i am guessing the conversation has been going on for a while that's why ETH got sacked despite losing to a bad VAR decision.

Ugarte also went to PSG from Sporting and that's been reported as someone Ashworth pushed for, so me thinks this whole thing is not exactly an accident

Looks like he's got a good record of bringing the young guys in - especially now that our U18s is so good.

Hopefully this will happen sooner than later. With only 9 games onto this season, it might be a long ride with our interim Vanestroy

He should drop all the senior players and just play the kids. They'll at least follow the game plan and show some effort. Lol

I'm hoping they already had someone like Amorin lined up. I'd rather this get over with sooner rather than later.

Maybe I am trying to connect dots that are not there, but after reading the athletics tactical piece on him it feels like he was always the plan B after TH, he likes a striker who drops deep and plays in the wingers (zirkzee), he likes 3 atb ( we signed two CBs), Ugarte played under him before he went to PSG. He is known for bringing youth players through.

Perhaps it's a coincidence.

It so sort of does seem planned to some extent as they only gave TenHag 1 year extension, had already talked to other managers. I think they were hoping to have TH get the team through the year in a reasonable state for the new guy to take over next year, but seems theyve had to accelerate the plans a bit.and just accept they will have to pay the compensation for the new manager.
