This is why I zone roof building out from my exterior walls. Kills everything underneath and prevents fire from getting to my walls. Also collapses on invaders if they try to blow up a chunk of the wall.
Great idea! I normally end up laying down some concrete hadn't thought about just roofing to kill the veg, thanks!
Saves the cost of steel in the concrete too, which may be better spent in the early game.
