I recommend looking into raw denim communities if there are any on lemmy. Japanese denim might give you what you are looking for. I have a pair of Edwin 503s that sound a lot like what you are asking about.
501 is the style
0126 is the color
32x34 is the size in inches waist x inseam
Levi's still sell non-stretch 501, and they should fit pretty much the same (although there is a lot more variation from one batch to the next than there used to be). If you can order from Levi's online you should be able to get similar ones. Or check any shops for 501 32x34 in 100% cotton.
Another option would be to get the original 501 shrink-to-fit (color 000). It's a process to break them in (not as much as heavier denim), but they should last longer since they're not stonewashed or otherwise treated to make them soft. Just read up on sizing first.
thanks for your reply. the thing is: all 501 100% cotton i tried have a smallish leg opening although they are called "straight leg". these work fine when worn with shoes but sit too high when worn with biker boots. the ones i try to find again have a wide enough leg opening to fit the boots and rest in the heel. it's really weird. and they really are 501 not boot cut, i swear

Okay, now its getting ridiculous. Just measured the leg opening of my current pair, its 17''.
Browsing through their website, i noticed, that leg opening appear to vary with color, approx. 1". Then i thought, maybe, i try my luck in different european stored (spain, belgium, netherlands). Same pattern, but then i noticed that i still had a tab for the US store open. Apparently, fit also differ between countries.

If you`re struggling to get jeans to a particular fit, you can get them custom made to your required measurements at https://www.makeyourownjeans.com/. They've got a good selection of fabrics, and I can recommend getting a gusset put in to significantly extend the life of the jeans.

For thie community selvedge jeans should recommended imho. This the original jean fabric.
They are more expensive but they also last longer.
Brave star makes them some what affordable, you can snipe them under 100 on sale.
