Protest votes are supposed to hurt. The point is to motivate candidates to do better through the threat of loss of power.

I just learned about this around 11:45pm ET November 4. I signed up as a swing-state voter, and in 5 minutes got connected with 2 safe-state voters who agreed to vote for Jill Stein as a swap for my (very reluctant) vote for Harris. I feel much better now. :-)

This is honestly a great idea. Republicans will pounce on it calling fraud, but fuck them. Trump needs to lose, and if Stein can gain support in safe states without undermining that objective, that'd be huge.

People will get upset about this, while it's totally normal that a vote in Wyoming is worth 3X a vote in California, New York, Texas, etc.
