Pro-Palestinan activists have claimed that the Maccabi Tel Aviv fans were the first to engage in harassment and violence, saying they assaulted Arabs in the city and vandalized Palestinian flags.

Israeli fans could be heard chanting “We’ll fuck the Arabs,” and “Fuck you Palestine” in video footage

Israeli's being massively racist? I'm shocked.

Wow, you must be an antisemite clearly!

I fully believe if the government of Israel ordered its soldiers to start finding puppies and kittens to smother, SOMEONE would be defending their "right" to do so and saying anyone who wants to save the puppies and kittens hates Jewish people.

Dude I can't believe that this shit happened in our capital... I'm very disappointed in our local government, police and inhabitants that took part in everything that happened. It really feels like the world is sliding towards a massive conflict at a rapid rate now.

They boycotted the minute of silence before the game for the victims of the floods in Valencia (something that as a Spaniard I thank the organizers for). You should kick them out of the country as soon as possible, I don't even know what they are doing competing in Europe, they are an Asian country, they should try to play with their neighbors

It is a bit strange that they're allowed to compete in Europe. I get why it is the way it is but you'd think that they would compete in the Asian stuff. Also, I don't get why an active aggressor still gets to continue doing stuff like this. Russia is being banned but not Isreal?

The hypocrisy of Israel's actions being consistently covered up by its allies is going to cost us dearly in credibility and influence in the future, especially when compared to the demands made on other countries, like cutting ties with Russia.

They’ve killed half their neighbors.

[-] Foni@lemm.ee 9 points 1 week ago

Yes, well, they can always play against the other half, if they lose they invade them alleging anti-Semitism and that's it, all advantages

No Middle Eastern team, self-respecting or not, would play against an Israeli team.

[-] Foni@lemm.ee 1 points 1 week ago

Does it seem strange to you?

[-] NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io 3 points 1 week ago

Nope. As a Middle Eastern guy it was and still is literally unthinkable.

I’d be more focused on being very disappointed on the Israelis who started fights on your land.

I suppose, but you can't try to keep them in check if you don't want to be labeled as a nazi country. Warmonger Bibi is very quick to point fingers when jews are involved.
