“It is time to consider suspending the credentials of Israel as a member state of the UN,” she said. “I understand the sensitivity because none of you have clean hands when it comes to human rights.”

She said no other country had defied so many UN resolutions for so long.

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the US ambassador to the UN, described her in a tweet as unfit for office, adding: “The United Nations should not tolerate antisemitism from a UN-affiliated official hired to promote human rights.”

I'm so fucking tired of this conflation of condemnation of the Israeli government with bigotry against the Jewish people.

Im tired of attempting to differentiate Israel from Judaism and Jewish People leading to immediate accusations of antisemitism for doing so.

Israel clearly doesn't care that they're actively destroying the global image of Judaism and Jewish People by actively pushing back against that differentiation in media.

Israel loves it.

The more harm international Jewish people are in, the more they can import colonizers and pretend the world is against them to justify their evil.

Makes sense to me. What's the use of have a member in an organization when can't follow the rules set by said org?

Doesn't matter, America will veto it

First kick the US then Israel lmao i wish

There might be ways around that though.

Consider that when https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_General_Assembly_Resolution_2758_(XXVI originally passed, for example, the US was not able to veto this.

There should be sanctions but kicking them out of the UN won't accomplish anything positive. The UN is supposed to be the one place where countries that don't like each other can come to diplomatic agreements to not kill each other.

There are loads of bad countries that piss on human rights in the UN but kicking them out isn't a solution.
