JOE SCOTT is a great science communicator, the title of the video may seems a bit "clickbaity" but in the end he just discusses the evolution of smartphones, their limitations, and potential future replacements.

I don't see AR replacing phones any time soon. Even in some years when there's an AR device comfortable enough to wear throughout the day, it's likely going to be running off your phone. Certainly not replacing it within the next 10 years.
